Quick question on proper posting that this post brings up: If you have word of a promotion at a site, and you are not an affiliate and do not stand to gain anything, is it poor form to post that promo, as the OP apparently did here? Maybe only if that promo was not e-mailed to all members of that site and therefore might not be well-known or something?

Having more than 0 posts prior to posting it always helps.

If it's a good promotion and you stand to gain nothing from it, I would say it's fine to post it. But make sure it's not an affiliate promotion, or you will get slammed for being a shill. Hell, even if it's not an affiliate promotion and being offered directly by the site, you'll probably get slammed to, but who cares.

OMG. He said 1 in 10 for 1 million. GUARANTEED.
I was doubtful but then I saw the capitals. Can't miss this one people. If, say, 2000 of us do it we'll make 200 MILLION.
We could break Pacific.

Well, my thought was, as I read the promo e-mail from Pacific, that it was a god-damn lie. Most of those playing in that tournament will have considerably LESS than a 1 in 10 chance of getting in the money. It's not a g-damn lottery. But Pacific probably doesn't even understand that.
