Default Why? Is he pulling a move?

If he flopped the straight the 10 shouldn't scare him at all. Is it just a move he's trying to put on me?

if he does have a straight i think its more about getting the rest of your money in when he knows he's a head and you'll call, rather than trying to protect his hand. its only $18 more and you've shown you like your hand. why chance letting a card scare you from paying him off?

I don't have a straight but I also don't believe that he does. I agree that he's just trying to get all my money in and the only hand(s) he'd try to do that with is 89 or 55. 66 and 77 are possible but I doubt it since that's all the 6's and all the 7's.

Can't see what? what kind of move he's pulling? When I show the results you'll understand why I think it's a move. I just don't understand the move because I didn't have a ton of money behind.

He doesn't have a straight, he has two pair. He's saying that the ten, if the other person had 98 (=straight) then he wouldn't protect his hand if he had it, he would slowplay it. But since he went all in, we can assume he was protecting something, so he probably has trips.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of action on this...but.

He had 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Made the straight on the river. How on earth could he possibly try to push me off when I only have 18 more? Like everyone has said, it's obvious I like my hand. How could he make this play?

Oh I agree. Definetly time to try and get it back. Unfortunetly I had to go pick up the GF. I don't know what it is but it's this hand that makes me think that something is really wrong. He can't be pulling a move on me because I only have 17 left.
