lol, ok. im done with the hatein'. but, i just thought that i should comment that the KKK has nothing to do with an online forum. free speech is not allowed here, as this is a private place. however, of course, what is acceptable for discussion is not up for me to decide. not that i think posts like this should be banned or anything, but im just personally tired of the irrelevant banter about known player's lives. i was just expressing my opinion.

I actually agree with you, in that I just don't give a [censored] about what this issue is and I wouldn't waste my time speculating on what it might be. But the funny part is, and I think even you can agree with this, that he posted in his blog sort of for the purpose of speculation. All he had to do to avoid speculation is erase the part that said, I heard somethings I wasn't supposed to hear, and, I can't say what it was about. Information like that is for speculative purposes. Like saying, "Dude, did I tell you about (insert friend's name here)? Oh, actually, nevermind..." Then you're just like, TELL ME WHAT THE EFF HAPPENED WITH (insert friend's name here)!

Sorry guys. I take another view. Dan's personal life is fair game as is the personal life of all public figures. It's the price you pay for playing on TV, writing a blog, selling books, talking, hosting, playing, etc. I live in NY and we are bombarded each day with tales of Michael Strahan's nasty divorce. He is a star football player and he is a public figure. The price you pay for fame.

I think as poker grows, you will see more of this. Real reporters will ask questions about under the table payments to star players (now being looked at in professional golf) to play in open tournaments, how are some broadcasts billed as live when they are taped and edited, etc. Last year, ESPN got angry at some journalists for putting WSOP hands and results on the net during their filming. It's the price you pay for growth.

And yes I am a journalist, so I do see things a bit differently.
