Folding open trips in an unraised pot
Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (10 handed) converter
BB ($6.65) UTG ($12.50) UTG+1 ($20.35) UTG+2 ($42.85) MP1 ($26.25) MP2 ($21.35) Hero ($22.80) CO ($8.30) Button ($8.85) SB ($26.10) Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG calls $0.25, UTG+1 calls $0.25, UTG+2 calls $0.25, MP1 calls $0.25, MP2 calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25, CO calls $0.25, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks. Flop: ($2.25) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (9 players) SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets $1, UTG+2 folds, MP1 raises to $5.25, MP2 folds, Hero folds, CO folds, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds. No reads as I've only been here one orbit and was reading this damn forum instead of paying attention to the table. Good fold? I can think of few things MP1 can raise with here that is worse than A6. If stacks were shorter, maybe I could play but I don't want to put my stack in with a 6 kicker. |

Re: Folding open trips in an unraised pot
I wouldn't dream of putting any money in the pot on that flop with that hand with that many people still in the pot.

Re: Folding open trips in an unraised pot
Fold is the correct play here....
But, I've seen a lot people at UB go all in in similar situations on a flush draw! |
