Default A nasty beat.

Today my bankroll has taken major dammage. I have taken more bad beats than Phil Hellmuth (at least it felt that way tonight.) Here is the worst one of the day.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.02 BB (9 handed) converter

SB ($4.14)
BB ($1.53)
UTG ($1.16)
UTG+1 ($2.87)
MP1 ($.71)
MP2 ($1.98)
Hero ($2.92)
CO ($1.92)
Button ($.57)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.02. MP1 posts a blind of $0.02.
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP1 (poster) checks, MP2 calls $0.02, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.1</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP1 calls $0.08, MP2 folds.

Flop: ($0.24) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets $0.61 (All-In)</font>, Hero calls $0.61.

Turn: ($1.46) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

River: ($1.46) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $1.46

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
MP1 has 5s Td (four of a kind, tens).
Hero has Ad As (full house, aces full of tens).
Outcome: MP1 wins $1.46. </font>

I'm in no position to criticize, as I play a lot of micro (nano)limit also. But ... I find it very awkward to be talking about a major hit to your bankroll when you are playing penny poker.

People at .01/.02 are barely better than the bingo players at the free chip tables.

On the bright side, you'll never get a worse beat than this, since it isn't possible.

this must not have been a bad beat jackpot table. that's too bad.

Why?

Hero only has a boat. Villain doesn't use both hole cards.
