Default any excel users?

Not really sure where to post this, so figured this might be the appropriate forum.

I don't know crap about Excel, but was wondering if anyone knows a bit about functions.

I have some #s in 6 rows that I need to add then subtract from 100. I'm sure it's pretty easy, but this is my first time using it.

Thank ya, and sorry this isn't as exciting as the super duper brain teaser.

For specific cells:
=SUM(A3,B5,etc)

To sum everything in a column (example B):
=SUM(B:B)

To sum a few cells vertically or horizontally (example B1, B2, B3, ... B10):
=SUM(B1:B10)

The formula is:

= 100 - @sum(highlight all #s to be added)

That was quick and painless. Thank you. By the way, anyone know any online tutorials for Excel?

smartforce perhaps, not sure if they are free. You're best bet is F1, google, or ask one of us for a spreadsheet that probably will use all and more of the functions you are trying to learn.
