I'm coming in to play on April Fools. Before I sit down and start value betting, I'll be getting together with some friends. Now, my knowledge of the place doesn't extend beyond the poker room. I've heard there's quite the scene on Friday nights. Any suggestions on a good place to hang out? I'm looking to avoid crowds, which I know might not be possible. But since I don't see these folks too much, I'd like to be able to converse without shouting.

The bar right next to the craps tables is a very short walk from the poker room once you get to the top of the escalator (to the right). It is fairly low key, has places to sit and talk to friends but isn't as crazy as the club.

If you don't mind chaning locale for a little bit you can go to the quarter at the trop for a nice meal where you can hold a conversation. I would call ahead for a reervation though...

i dont know if mixx is open on friday nights... if it is, and you like fat sluts, you're in

otherwise find the b bar or the gypsy bar, both places have plenty of friendly/drunk people on a weekend night and are a good time in terms of hanging out/having a few beers - you will not avoid the crowds on a weekend night unless you stay in your room the whole night
