At the Mirage, you have to ask, but you can get like a $10 comp for a couple of hours of play to use at one of thier cafes/buffet/cali pizza kitchen

Agreed on the IP -- this is why I play my one token tournament there. It's nice to be able to grab a cookie or sandwich, and to be able to get your own cup of water or coffee.

As for the comp, I wouldn't bother... the restaurants and buffet there are horrible. The burger place is fine, about what you'd expect.

I ate at the Mirage cafe last time I was there. The meatloaf sandwich was good and enormous. Same goes for the meatball sandwich. My sis polished off a fraction of it, though she is a light eater.

A discount would have been great though. If you can, please provide some details on obtaining this, especially for when the staff is busy.

The excalibur has a free buffet right in the poker room. It's not fine cuisine but you won't starve.

We got comped $6 at Binion's for 4 hours of play. Not much at all, but it worked out fairly well as they had a decent steak and eggs deal at their cafe for $6. If you want comps, make sure you ask before you start playing.

Monte Carlo has food comps after a few hours of play. It was like 4 or 6 bucks on my last trip. Not alot, but something.

I just asked the manager of the poker room about the $10 coupon, and they said that they didn't have any at the moment, but come back in a couple of hours and they will have some.

This was in late Dec.
