Default Your problem

Is that you've been working for 6 months, and written 60 pages. This is inexcusable. Just keep writing, you'll get ideas as you go along. And if an idea doesn't take off in your head, it's not worth doing.

Discussing your ideas with your friends, enemies, fellow internet message board posters won't help. Write your first draft with the door closed. Don't talk to anybody about it. Just write. Don't tell anyone how cool it will be. Just write. And for Pete's sake, don't ask for feedback! Procrastinating about the plot won't help you, just write.

If you've written "THE END" and you don't like it, move on to your next effort. I suspect that your writing skills will improve over time, but in order to have that happen, you have to write.

Default Oh, one more thing...

The best way to "just write" is to schedule it into your day. Writing is work, don't make it an optional event that you can get to later.
