I agree with most of these guys too. My funds paid for a table I made, with another one being built soon. I wanted nicer cards and chips so I bought them. I provide a couple bags of munchies and some ice for those that want to bring their own beer. Last tourney's winner only has to bring pop. We all pony up a couple bucks towards subs or pizza. A couple guys even offered to front a little more to cover the extras but I didn't feel right taking it.

Someone said, somewhere, that if you had a love for classic cars and spent a bunch of money to refurbish one, would you charge your friends gas money to take them for a drive in it? Poker is your passion. It is just the cost that comes with hosting.
