Hold\'em Quiz
http://www.cardplayer.com has a hold'em quiz dealing with a 30-60 game and basically it says that you are on the big blind with Q - 8 suited. The flop comes with the Ace from your suit and the 10 from your suit and a 3. giving you a flush draw. It says the small blind checks what should you do?
Then when you read the explanation, it says that you should bet because the Ace on board is the Ace from your suit so "you won't get buried under top pair" does anyone know what this means, and why betting is correct here? By the way a person under the gun was the preflop raiser. Thank you |

Actually it says: [ QUOTE ] Bet. Because the ace on the table is the ace of your suit, you will not get buried under top pair, nut flush-draw. [/ QUOTE ] From the book Middle Limit Holdem by Ciaffone. |
