Going cold?
For the last month and a half I've played 30/60 shorthanded online. I consider myself a very solid player. For the first 20 or so days I played I made a large amount of money. However, since a week and a half ago, I've lost pretty much everyrthing I made. I'll admit part of this is due to poor bankroll management, but I've been playing the same way and have just noticed that I've been getting bad beat after bad beat and losing to maniacs like there's no tomorrow. You'd think 30/60 players wouldn't limp UTG with 10 4 unsuited to catch 2 pair to crack JJ, or cap preflop from SB with 22 and stay in until river to catch trips, or coldcall 3 bets w/ 23 suited and pick up double gutshot to crack KK. These types of BS beats have seemed to have happened to me more times in the past week and a half than in my entire life! I know all you can do is recover and think long run, but what other explanation could there be for such a bad swing?

Re: Going cold?
I think the standerd response is, downswings happen. They suck but they happen. What you have to make sure is that you are definatly a winning player. If you are it'll turn around.
