Alright, perhaps if that's all he can start off with he should be playing at low limit games on PS or UB. If he can get more then PP NL25 is a nice soft place to start out at.

Yes it is. I do adjust my style after my bankroll size though. And I never dropped 5 buy ins after more than 14 months of playing, so I feel safe enough. There is always a possibility to lose it all of cource, no matter if it is 5 or 10 times the buy in.

hooo boy...i think the $25 is going to be too much. you only have $100, play a $10 buy-in table at most...
