Re: KKK vs. three flush - size of flop bet ok?
you're screwed, this guy is calling with 3outs for the ace and 9 outs for the 4 flush. nothing was going to deter him from calling.
tough break with top set. |

I find that in this situation, it is always correct to river the 4th K. Otherwise pairing the board is also a viable option, IMHO.

Re: KKK vs. three flush - size of flop bet ok?
If you're going to overbetbet by that much you might as well push all in. It looks more imposing. That being said, I doubt it makes a difference here. This guy is clearly too in love with his hand. Tough break.
You're much better off betting the pot, though. Then if you're called you can at least get away from it if a fourth spade falls on the turn. Villain likely will not feel compelled to push all-in over a pot-sized bet. He'd probably prefer to take off a card and see. If he does push all in, you at least have a chance to decide if you think he has a made flush. [ QUOTE ] Hand from winner take all shootout. Still early Is my flop bet the right size?
