Capping the flop and raising the turn was overly aggressive. MP2 betting (on the turn!) into the player who capped the flop obviously has a made hand or a really really strong draw. They didn't bet into you on the river because you played it like you had the absolute nuts. I want to put MP1 on a flush draw to the nuts and MP2 on something like 76s.

I don't think this would be a bad turn fold here. MP2's call/call/call, then betting the turn screams a big hand. A six or a straight, most likely.

thanks for your responses guys!
it turned out that MP1 had pocket 9's and MP2 stayed with his 46s with his 1 limper ahead of him. i think i just fell in love with my jacks and ignored the fact that people dont just randomly bet into you after capping flop with nothing...one of these days I'll learn [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] thanks again |
