I learned that folding 98 to a big bet into two players on a board of TJQK is a good play.
I also learned that I'm not ugly enough to play on 3 computers at once to try to get in 2000-3000 hands in a week. I learned that if some British guy tells me that he has picked up on my betting-patt-uhn at the table I can really confuse him by going over-the-top all-in on is ass. I learned how to instruct my playing partner in plain-view of everyone the straight-forward signals we are going to use to tell each other our cards. I learned that I can't be booted out of the casino as long as I get a hold of the video-tape. I learned that 8-grand isn't a very good win. I also learned that if my attempts to triple-up and double-it fail I can just make up for it by winning a $5-million tourney. And the list goes on. I learned SOOOOOO much from this show. |

Tilt has taught me never to accept a free, all-expenses-paid trip to Lake Tahoe. Especially from a guy who apparently owns a teleportation machine.

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Since I didn't watch it, I have gained against all those that did. [/ QUOTE ] And you think this because... 1) You never eat chili 2) You don't celebrate your birthday 3) You'd rather watch the weather channel [/ QUOTE ] That is absoutely correct. However, I do question myself reading (and replying to) a topic about a show I didn't watch, other than the pilot. I could have been watching the weather channel. Or QVC. |
