TT Trouble Hand
13 player tournament, down to 3 players. I am on the button with TT, I have about T300 and the villain has about T350 Blinds are at 15/30. I raise to 60 villain raises to 90, I think about pushing but I know he will call with any Ace. I also dont want to push and be shown JJ-AA, so I decide to call and take it from there.
Flop: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] he bets 60 I quickly call Turn: X [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] he bets 60 I think about pushing but decide A. If he is bluffing with A high I want him to continuw doing so b. If he has a higher PP I want to lose the least So I call River: X [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain goes all in Hero?? Comments on all streets appreciated |

Re: TT Trouble Hand
You obviously don't believe the minreraise is aces, so push the flop. Having gotten to the turn without pushing it, push the turn. Having gotten to the river putting half your stack in, well, now you're screwed.

[ QUOTE ]
I think about pushing but I know he will call with any Ace. [/ QUOTE ] This seems like a good reason to push preflop after his minraise and get your chips in as a likely 2:1 favorite. You're not going to get a much better non-set-non-quads flop for TT than that. So push now. If he has AA-JJ, oh well. |

Re: TT Trouble Hand
How many places pay out? How many chips does the 3rd player have?
If you are already in the money or the other person has a large stack I would push if not preflop then on the flop for sure. You only have 10x BB and TT is a very good hand 3 handed. So unless I can fold into the money I'd make a stand specially it looks like you could double up here and if he woke up with a higher PP then so be it. |
