Re: kcchips
Are the Matsui "decal" chips similar to Bud Jones' "Speed Chips"?
Also, what would be looking at $$ wise for a custom set of Matsui's? |

Re: kcchips
I don't know what "speed chips"
Matsui will send you some samples if you ask. I suggest you do this. In order to get matsui chips you need to buy at least 1000. This will allow you to get 2 colors (at least 500 to get a color made). I think the decal chips are 1.00 each (2 colors) or 1.10 each (3 colors). But you also have to pay some setup fees ...I think that's around 300 bucks. But I'm not sure....all in all....they are freaking expensive if you want to get 4 colors made. But I could be convinced to join a group buy for decal chips. (I'd much rather have TR King chips though.) |

Re: kcchips
That would probably have to be quite the group buy. I tried to get Matsui's for retail and in order to get a half-way decent price I was going to have to order 100,000 chips. Not to mention freight and customs from S. Korea. That was the last time I checked but it was awhile ago.

Re: kcchips
I agree.
No suction problem & the chips both look and feel much better IMO. The Matsuis have more of a rounded edge on them, which I like, and I guess the plastic they are using gives them a higher quality 'feel'. I also like the vivid colors & designs they have - plenty of color combinations & design options available. J5 |
