Rake comparison chart
Let's elaborate a comprehensive rake comparison chart of the top sites. If you want to collaborate, please go to the Summary tab of your Poker Tracker and copy the % of Pot.
(First, I thought that maybe the best measurement would be big bets per 100 hands, but the operation required --Total rake / Hands / Players x 100 / big bet = x bb/100-- takes some effort. Never mind.) This is what I've got: •Limit $5/$10 6 max Party Poker: 2.47% (2.39 bb/100) •Limit $2/$4 Party Poker: 3.48% (2.45 bb/100) Please, only post your data if you have more than 10,000 hands and you don't select the tables in which you play based on the average pot. Thanks. |

Re: Rake comparison chart
rake schedules are available on the websites of most sites.
it's near impossible to come to an easily understandable chart that summarizes the whole industry. basically, most sites take 5% of the pot, at incremental levels, with a $3 cap. sometimes there is a smaller cap for shortanded pots. crytpo has a 3 pound cap. |

[/ QUOTE ] Well, I want to make a comparison chart based on real games. I already know what they "basically" charge, and that's not enough. For instance, at the $5/$10 level Ultimate Bet caps at $3 when six players are dealt, but caps at $2 when five players are dealt, while Party Poker caps at $2 on both. Ultimate Bet takes whole dollars, while Party Poker takes also fractions. What is the result of that? Only real games data can tell. |

rake schedules are available on the websites of most sites. [/ QUOTE ] They doesn't help much to calculate real rake because you need to know average pot size for this level, games tightness etc. |

Re: Rake comparison chart
Party 3/6, full.
3.55% 2.35bb/100. My general tab shows I'm only paying about 1.5bb/100, though, perhaps because I'm playing fewer hands? |

Re: Rake comparison chart
Yes, that is because you are tighter than the average player at your level.

Re: Rake comparison chart
This data is from the last 10 days, so I don't understand the difference.
