5/10 6max party 1 limper to you on the button, what is your play with 1. A7o 2. A9o 3.89s 4.JTs 5.K9o 6. k9s 7. QTo If the blinds or the limper were more loose or more tight, how would that influence your decision? does the position of the limper matter? |

Re: preflop- being on the button with one limper to you
with 1 limper i would fold them all with the exception of maybe A9 which i would raise 50 % fold 50 % or maybe TJs which i may call 50 % of the time and fold 50 % the rest are in the bin. Why play marginals if they truly are as the word implies MARGINAL.

Re: preflop- being on the button with one limper to you
1. Usually fold, raise a CO limper
2. Usually raise, fold a tight limper. 3. Usually call, fold highly aggressive blinds. 4. Call 5. Fold 6. Usually call, raise a loose limper. 7. Call Some of these hands - JTs, K9s, QTo - are playable with one limper in a full ring game, so I'm not sure why anyone would say they aren't here. That may be a reason I'm missing though. |

Re: preflop- being on the button with one limper to you
This question means nothing until we know how loose exactly the blinds are, but against decent blinds.
1. A7o - fold 2. A9o - raise 3.89s - fold 4.JTs - raise 5.K9o - raise 6. k9s - raise 7. QTo - depends on how pretty the sun is. |

Re: preflop- being on the button with one limper to you
I can't believe people are telling you to fold some of these hands. 98s is the worst of the bunch, but the rest of them are very playable. A7o on the button with a limper is a very strong hand at a SH table.
I think you can make a case for limping/raising any of these hands based on table conditions. With the exception of 98s (which I am starting to play on the button), I wonder why people are advocating folds. |

Re: preflop- being on the button with one limper to you
I will tell you what I do, and I will also tell you that it maybe inferrior to the advice you already got.
1. A7o Fold 2. A9o Raise 3.89s Limp 4.JTs Raise 5.K9o Fold 6. k9s Raise 7. QTo Limp I have assumed the standard limper w/ the standard blinds. |

[/ QUOTE ] If the blinds are tight, I raise with all of these. With loose blinds, I'll probably fold the A7o, limp the suited connectors, and raise the big card hands. |
