Not that I can make it from here in Dallas or anything, but a lot of the apartments here have a clubhouse that can reserved for a deposit which gets returned as long as the place doesn't get trashed. Maybe the same is true in S. Cal.?

As far as location goes, let's see who all wants to play first. If anyone from the valley or LA wants to play then Manhattan Beach will be pretty central. If most people are from the OC then we should try and find a place down there.

Maybe this should be in PM or something, but I don't think we have enough players yet, so we need some more time in front of the big audience.

What kind of stakes are you talking about? Tourney or Ring game? I think we all play at different levels online, might make a difference as to who would be interested in playing.

I would prefer low stakes unless there are several rich fish in the game.

I don't mind whatever format, but I would prefer a cash game, dealer chooses the game and we play it around.

If someone wants to play indian poker, then so be it.

No strip poker, Yugo.

I'm in LA. I'd be interested, though I'm no wealthy 109+ player so it'd have to be low stakes for me. I'm into dealer choose except I don't know how to play omaha at all! In fact, I only really know anything at all about holdem and stud. So maybe I just shouldn't be playing a home game with some pros! Haha..

No stakes are too low for me.

I wouldn't want to lose more than about $500.

Well, we've only got four people interested. That may be enough since some of us can probably bring someone else (I can bring at least one), but I thought I'd bump this one more time to see if anyone else is interested. If it gets buried again, I'll take the discussion to PM's.

I need an excuse to meet some of you anyway. It would be a 6+ hour drive for me, but keep me in the loop. If I can swing it, I'll be there.

we have a casino table and chips and have small games about once a week or so In North Hollywood and in Long Beach. We have actually been looking to expand the games so if people are interested and wouldn't mind a small rake in exchange for free beer and snacks...
