UltimateBet bonus worth clearing?

Just noticed that UltimateBet now only gives 1 point per raked hand no matter how much is raked. I remember it was awfully slow to clear their bonus before, now is it impossible?

Of course not.

Worth clearing....if you are just in it for clearing the bonus then probably not. If you like playing at UB for whatever other reason then it certainly is better to have the bonus than not.


I have $2800 in bonuses there and haven't really touched it since last Aug. Haven't felt the inclination to really.

May or may not deposit and cash-out to build my bonus-total up to $2900. Since I haven't played there since last Aug or Sept (or whatever) I probably won't bother with it.


I might head back there for some tournaments since they say they have improved their software. But you don't clear the bonuses via tournaments anyway.

I think that the OP means that there's a cap on the points per hand.

On another note, I posted this in the reload thread that's unfortunately dead, but does anyone know if the UB bonus counts against MGR for rakeback? It doesn't seem to for me, but of course, someone could always be messing something up...

You can transfer bonus dollars on UB through support, like T$ and W$ on Stars, right?

As others have said, you won't get rich off the bonus, and the bonus by itself isn't a compelling reason to go to UB.

I personally love the miniview and being able to have UltimateHistory pop up the hand records right after each deal so I can review the action without having to have the hand emailed to me if I want to check someone's hole cards or something.

And if you run out of juicy easy-to-clear bonuses elsewhere, the UB bonus is still at least 3 times better than just playing for rakeback somewhere. UB bonus never expires so no pressure to clear it as fast as you can. It'll wait until after you defuse your time bombs.

They never gave more than 1 point per raked hand, unless you are one of the first 2-4 to sit down at a table to earn bonus points. And every bonus is worth clearing, it's just a matter of if you have other bonuses that you would rather clear first.

If so I would love to buy some bonus from people here. I was kidding with Bob yesterday, but I was thinking about it.

I could clear that bonus at UB over time.
