Default Low Limit Hand

Low Limit online

Players are typical low limit players

MP limps, I limp with JsTs, button and blinds call.

Flop: JdTc6d

Checked to me, I bet. Everyone calls but MP player.

Turn: JdTc6d 3h

checked to me. I bet. button raises. Others fold. I re-raise. button calls.

River JdTc6d 3h 4h

I bet. button raises. I call.

All comments appreciated

i think you played it fine..

he may have 75 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] or a set...but id think a set would be capping the turn...he cant put you on JJ or TT since those are easy raise hands in your spot preflop...

I would probably have made all the same bets, you could win against a worse two pair, or lose to a set.

Good Luck,
Play Well,

button won with a set of sixes. I was hoping for him having a big Jack or a worse two pair. Looking back it seems there arent too many reasonable two pair hands he could have. Based on the responces it sounds like people think it is still worth a playing it a strongly as I did. Sets are quite uncommen.

Thanks for the responces.

"Players are typical low limit players"
Hmmm, called your flop bet and came to life and raised the turn. Sounds like typical, slowplay the flop, raise the turn with a set.
Only other hand I would put him on is an overpair, but then a flop raise may be more likely.

I think you have to consider a set. You had so many opponents who limped pre-flop that hoping he had two pair was wishful thinking. Having said that, your only mistake may have been being overagressive. It is near impossible to fold this hand against an opponent who is likely playing many hands.
