I was winning during the summer. My wins went steadily down after that when I was reading books. I think my friends' crazy play doesn't mesh with my coolheaded poker skillz.

I agree with JoJo. In fact, if you want to IMPROVE on your original winrate, stop looking at your cards. You should be playing the man, anyway. The knowledge of which cards you're holding is obscuring your instincts.

haha, you guys are mean....
If your earlier wins weren't luck and you are in fact better then your opponents you're just in the nasty grip of variance. I'm by far the most educated player in our game and if you took a vote probably the "best" but I've dropped $150 at a $25 NL game over the past two weeks. It happens. |
