Default Hands, Heads Up with 12K (edit)

Im at 12K, Villian is at 10K.

Blinds 25/50

He is a doctor and the father of one of my friends, we met last month at my high school graduation. I went to give my friend a pen from my pocket and you caugt a glimpse of my roll and wanted to know why I carried around that much change.

Tonight the game started at 2K buy-in, everyone else played to they got broke. We raised the blinds for heads up action.

He is LAG and dangerously good.

I get

6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

In SB raise to $200. He calls.

Flop

7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I check. He checks behind

Turn

5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet $250. He raises to $500. I call

River

K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check. He bets 3K. I raise all-in.

Oops I left something out: I have made this same exact check-raise on the river 5 times in this game. Called once and showed a bluff. The other 4 times i showed my cards as bluffs.

I like it. Just subtle enough to rile up the regulars, without being an in your face troll. There is no way you are not being challenged to a HU freeze out before this is over.

can he really be "LAG" heads up? seems the loose part just becomes normal during heads up play.

Clearly the best play is to bet the flop, but its hard to argue heads up play because its so player based and situational. what was your reasoning behind checking the flop?

rest seems standard.

I don't recall catching a glimpse of your roll, and I resent the implication.
