Re: Pharaoh\'s Club Paulsons - A blank instead of a 25¢?
Yea, what about getting rid of the $ sign and cent sign all together????? Just a thought. I am still in either way.

Re: Pharaoh\'s Club Paulsons - A blank instead of a 25¢?
What about this:
white: blank or 50 blue: 1 red: 5 green: 25 black: 100 purple: 500 orange: 1000 This way, with NO dollar signs and NO cent signs, the 50 can be for 50 cents or $50, or leave blank. Just another suggestion. |

[/ QUOTE ] That's an interesting idea, and I've seen it done on many sets before with success. However, this is a fantasy casino set. A big part of the appeal is that they are supposed to be real casino chips. I think they're going to need the dollar signs without a doubt. Ten |

Go with ALL de-noms: 25 cents thru $1000. No blank or wild card chip.....that is GAY.

Speaking of denoms...
I may be the only one here who has a thing for denominations expressed to 2 decimal places.
For example: As opposed to: For some reason, the little underlined 00 really makes my day. Am I just too hardcore? I guess it says "Money" to me a little bit more loudly... |

Re: Speaking of denoms...
Isn't it gorgeous? Plain round inlay, low-tech graphics, 3 1/2in. white edgespots- and yet, is there truly a more attractive chip being used today?

Ten [/ QUOTE ] I voted for ALL denominated chips with no blanks. Ten, you said it yourself. Part of the appeal of having a fantasy casino set is believing the denominations are real. To me, the chips look like toys without denominations. I think a 25cent denominated chip will add value to low stakes cash games and a high denominated $1000 chip will boost the ego of the tournament player towards the end of the game. |
