Default Loose Button

Trying to expand my button play.

CO poster is terrible, loose passive pay station.
UTG - LAG with high showdown percentage

On the button with T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG Limps, Poster Checks, I Call, Blinds Call

Flop: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Blinds Check, UTG Bets, Poster Calls, I Call, BB Calls

Turn T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BB Checks, UTG Bets, Poster Folds, I Raise, BB Folds, UTG Calls

River 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

UTG Checks, I Check

I am the first to advocate loose preflop play with position but this is a muck.

Postflop you have a value bet on the river.

In an attempt to clown it up a bit I would play T7s if the blinds weren´t too likely to raise.

T5s is just too weak.

Bet the river.

I knew the preflop limp was suspect. I was curious to see how many would say bet the river. I missed a bet he had J8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Anyone raise a lag on flop like this, with this sort of holding?

i didnt bother to comment postflop because preflop was so bad, but i would have certainly raised the flop. you definitely need to value bet this river and its not close. you cant even consider playing these hands preflop if you are going to play so poorly postflop with them.

Turn: Easy.

River: Just bet. What are you afraid of?
