Default Going up against

Notes on this fellow is that he is very aggressive and overvalues flush draws.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with Qh, 8h. Hero posts a blind of $3.
2 folds, MP1 calls, 2 folds, Hero (poster) checks, 2 folds, BB checks.

Flop: (3.33 SB) Qd, 4d, 7s (3 players)
BB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, BB raises, MP1 calls, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, MP1 calls.

Turn: (6.16 BB) 9h (3 players)
BB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, BB raises, MP1 folds, Hero calls.

River: (10.16 BB) Js (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 12.16 BB

I'd raise preflop. I don't like 3-betting the flop as I can leave my options open as far as raising the turn with the 3rd player trapped, or I could call or fold depending on the turn card and action.

The Dude had a post a couple months ago about raising your post on the CO when there is one open-limp ahead of you. He argued that you can do it with any 2. I usually have stats on the button and blinds before I sit down, and when I know they're reasonable I go ahead and raise pretty much any 2. Here I think your hand is good enough to raise pretty much regardless of the players behind you.
