Default bet the river?

In retrospect I don't think the river was a value bet here...

From memory both villans are 30ish VPIP PFR around 7

hmm.. I just hate AQo vs. a pfr. But he is in MP3, so a 3-bet is the way to go, I guess.

I don't bet this river 3 handed

This is just silly...heads up - yea bet it...players left are tight- yea bet it...againsts 2 opponents who are fairly loose-check.

Im too afraid of a check-raise and a wasted bet.

I check.

I'm not so much afraid of a check-raise here as I am thinking this was pretty stupid. I can't remember what was going through my head at the time, something along the lines of villans both had overs (hence the checked turn) and I was probably best.

Looking back at it now it's definately a check. I'd bet it HU though. Thanks for the reality check.

I actually like the bet if the board is a little scarier, because then you would be getting 6.5:1 on a bluff, but with that board, you are not going to get very many made hands to fold, nor are you probably going to have the best hand at SD.

I wouldn't bet this. I don't see any better hands folding much and I don't see many worse hands calling either.

I'm rarely value-betting A-high on the river. Even in HU situations.

I'd prefere a bet on the turn to a bet on the river. Atleast then you have a shot at picking up the pot. I wouldn't necessarily bet THIS turn, though. The river bet probably will only get called by better hands, I think checking just saves you a bet in the times when you are behind.

Don't value bet this river when you have position against 2 players. There is no value here. You won't get a better hand to fold and worse hands are unlikely to call. You've been given a free showdown, so take it.
