What is wrong with our society... a few funny paragraphs will kill you?

Comment: If North Dakota does get that law through, it'll be interesting to see who the first group to run to court will be -- the anti-gambling crowd, the feds, the native americans, or who.

All in," says Toby,...
"Call," says an older lady at the table. She has gray streaks in her hair and a penchant for fiddling with her chips. They click away as she stares at Toby.

Getting in here wasn't easy, but unless this lady's bluffing, it's going to be even tougher to stay.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah, the elusive bluff call, I mean call bluff. Its all so confusing.

Kudos for doing this each week. It really is nice to get a weekly overview of what's going on. And for someone reason I was hearing Mike Myer's voice (probably cuz we just saw Shrek 2 again) in his Scots voice reading this one:

It made me think, though, how when I read stories of daily life in some countries, it seems almost quaint and oldfashioned (in a good way, leaving aside any implied issues of paternalistic dead white european male hegemony), especially when compared to the daily life I see. (Of course, different people see different things.)
