Not THAT kind of shot!
Not playing very well at all today, so I said F it and decided to play it. It gave me warm fuzzies, and turned the session around a bit for me. I think if the A hadn't fallen on the flop, you would have been snapped off.
Just be sure not to do this kind of thing too often, and never against players who aren't very good. What I mean is, unless the opponent is very good, this won't be +EV.

Don't listen to Grunch, the grannymae is always +EV even if just for comical value. I mean even if a fish calls you down and you lose and noone even pays attention enough to give you more action for showing down that hand all your giving up is about 2 hours of work. Every once and awhile poker has to become a game again.
