Having previously lived in New Jersey but now (permanently) living in Los Angeles, and having returned to NJ last September when this movie was playing for a very close friend's funeral on top of some personal circumstances that were going on at the time, this movie really touched me.

I don't think it's a date movie; there are a lot of subtle themes in this movie.

I liked it a lot, but from a craft standpoint I agree with what astro says. Good writing, iffy directing, but v. good for his first movie.

I agree. Some of it just seemed too forced.
