Default How to play a doulbe Draw at 1-2 From bb

Say you sitting in the BB and you end up with a double back door darw. One for Str and one for Flush.

Do you call single bet on the flop? And do call single bet on the river if your hand improves?

It all depends. In some cases you raise, others you fold. Find a hand you're describing and post it.

A cathop is a weak draw in hold'em. In something like stud/8, 234 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] rolled up if a very strong hand. Likewise something like JT9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is in regualr stud. But in hold'em they are usually worthless.

Say you have 54 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Board: K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Your hand is garbage no matter how you draw it up.

You have: JT [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Borad: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

This is about the best that you can hope for. Your hand is usually strong enough to take a look at 4th street if it is one bet to you. If it is bet and raised, you can't call with something like this unless the pot is huge in which case you might want to 3-bet but that is a whole 'nother story.
