Codecs
Where is the best place to download codecs in order to play movies on your computer?
Also, is there a way to figure out what specific codecs I need for each individual file I have? |

[/ QUOTE ] Just Google whatever codec you need. When you try to play a file, if you do not have the correct codecs, it will tell you what codecs you need. |

Re: Codecs
Just download the free VLC media player.
It has pretty much every useful codec pre-installed. And it is a fast, easy program to use. It totally donkeys. |

Re: Codecs
VLC media player is goot. I've moved from VLC to "Media Player Classic".
Link MPC even plays .ram files and quiktime .mov files. With larger files VLC sometimes got laggy. VLC is nice in that it can play a .bin/.cue movie without converting to mpg first (or burning). |
