First two look perfect. On the third hand, I'd reraise it preflop, but postflop is great. It feels much better to hit a pair with AK and AQ, instead of having to bluff at the pot.

First one is fine. You maybe got beat out by two pair, but you had to bet the turn. Maybe $5 would have been better.

Second one, I'd value bet the river. The turn didn't help him, and you're ahead against most hands. The flush possibility is scary, but he didn't get good enough odds to call to the end. As long as you're able to lay it down against a reraise, you should try to get more out of it.

Third one, value bet the river again. The 8 didn't make his straight. If he was slow playing a made straight, then he'll raise and you can lay it down. Otherwise, you're likely ahead.

Note well: I have made no money at poker.

I neglected the preflop play, because I'm still a habitual limper. But I too would like the preflop reraise.

Ok thanks. I know these hands aren't all that interesting, I just wanted to post them because they were from my first day of 100bb stacks, and they were all from the same session, very close in time to each other, and I lost them all to three of a kind.

First hand, guy was a real bad player, so I was pretty sure I was ahead on both the flop and the turn (though I could easily see AJ beating me). He turned over 22 for the flopped set.

The second hand was strange, because the guy was really tight, but he turned over QTs for the turned trips...

Last hand, guy was a pretty average player, turned over a set of 5s.

You may be most likely ahead on both rivers, but if you are, you won't get called, and if you're not, you'll get raised. Especially in the second hand, where the flush draw hit the river, betting would be a bad idea. On the third hand, it's possible that he was calling down with a weaker Ace, but a lot of the weaker Aces have made two pair by this point. Just check it through.
