Default Why does the play differ so much comparing one pokerroom vs another

Why does the play differ so much depending on which site you play at. At some sites players will cap flop with bottompair and another one will call along to see the turn with nothing more than a runner runner flush. At other sites players fold anything but toppair or a monsterdraw on the flop like it was the plauge.

At some sites you feel you can bet your toppair/any kicker with confidence. At others you feel like your flopped toppair is doomed to get raised before you come anywhere near the bet-button.

Why is the play so different between the top 10 onlinerooms?. In B&M you could perhaps think there's geographical and demographic differences between casinos in different cities and countries. But online everyone has access to any pokerroom anytime.

Why does the general playingstyle and the general feel of the game differ so much depending on where you play?

Type of player they attract. If a site doesnt have a sportsbook or casino site. The type of players that would play there should be tighter in general. Also if they advertise like Party you will get your average player/bird/fish.........
