Re: KK hand - comments please
amplify their mistakes all the more by charging them twice as much.
The problem with this is that they will often not make the mistake of calling two small bets drawing to their 10+:1 longshot if you reduce their pot odds to 4.5:1 but they will make the mistake of calling one bet getting 8:1. |

Re: KK hand - comments please
I don't want them to fold by any means, rather, I want them to pay twice as much for their 10.75:1 ande 23:1 shots before they decide to abandon them, which they will do in a typical LL game.

Re: KK hand - comments please
I guess I'm making recommendations based on the game I play in regularly. In this game, people rountinely call 2 bets cold on the flop and then muck to a turn bet. They have no significant notion of pot odds.

Re: KK hand - comments please
I prefer to raise the flop--it's a quick and cheap way to find out what he's working with (whether he has a 6 or a 4 or some other pocket pair).

Re: KK hand - Results
Thanks for your comments. Very good advice indeed. I think I will use your strategy. Raise, and see what develops. Like you said, if the sb calls two cold, and/or bb reraises, laying down will probably be right a majority of the time. And if he calls 2 cold and catches the backdoor, more power to him. Thanks for the advice.
