Default Boring but common overcards situation - Standard line?

The flop bet is standard, but then what? On the turn I got two overcards and 4 outs to a straight. I think I tend to bet the turn too often in situations such as this, and that this is a small leak in my play. What's the recommended line in these situations? CO seems tightish with VP$IP 17 over 23 hands.

Bets. Usually CO is calling one bet on the flop with overcards and is going to fold the turn when he misses.

i would bet it you leave it open for CO to bet if you check it to him and i would guess with his stats he would try to buy it there.

just my 2 cents. *i also suck in these spots with overcards and having bet/raised prior to*

Would you also bet the river when a blank comes? What I have problems with is deciding when to quit with only overcards and a persistent caller. I have a feeling it costs me a few too many bets in the long run.

No, I don't bet the river if he calls.
