Blind stealing - Kxs, 8o+ and 7s+
From the button, average game conditions, 6 max table
Raise 1 st in: K5s, any lower? Any 2 cards 8 or higher? Any 2 cards suited 7 or higher? Any of these plays be made from 1st in from the CO? |

Re: Blind stealing - Kxs, 8o+ and 7s+
The search is no good, search "stealing" in the subject and it comes up with just odd hands,
I want info on what I outlined above. |

Re: Blind stealing - Kxs, 8o+ and 7s+
What are peoples VP$IP overal, and also on the BUTTON, in a 6 MAX Game
Ive tightened up my play in all positions, but surely I should be hammering those blinds when the opportunity arises to steal, but then that would put my vpip above what most of the good players in this forum recommend. Do you even raise all the Ax offsuit, or do you only go down as far as say A5, Please add your views. |

Re: Blind stealing - Kxs, 8o+ and 7s+
Depends a little bit (but not as much as one might thing)
on the opponents behind you.. If SB or BB reraises often, or blinds in general defend too much, tighten up slightly. If you have excellent control and/or blinds fold too much raise slightly more. (In general looks like your not raising enough suited hands). GENERAL STRategy for offsuit hands on the button: A6,K6, an other 2 8 or higher CONSERVATIVE STRategy: A8,K8,Q8, J9, T8, 98 (fold 22 and 33) AGG STRategy (can raise slightly more if your real confident in your control, but better to err on the side of caution). A4, K5, Q8, J8, T7, 97, 87 |
