Typical annoying situation, raise pf, miss flop and get bet into by sb( T VPP 10% PFR 6%). Would it be better to raise the flop and take free card on turn if don't improve, fold if 3 bet on flop, or bet on turn by sb? I choose the whimpy path in this case.

Eh, this is one line. I prefer, raise (hopefully knocking out the Button), lead out turn, check river through. If your 3 bet or C/R on the turn, muck.

i'd try that with a high [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. but seeing how you have no redraws and a passive player betting into you, i'm just calling the flop.

If I had the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], I would have definitely gone for the raise on the flop.

Why not just fold the flop? You're only getting 9:1

According to SSH overcards are worth 3 outs, you don't have any readraws and the A and Q of diamonds might not even be good to begin with.
