Someone told me that they had increased the minimum possible score. It used to be 200/200. So, if you miss every question, you would get a 400 overall score. What I've been told is that this minimum is now higher (probably to make underachievers feel better about their scores). Because the scores are awarded on a bell curve, an 800 would still be just as good a score now as it ever was. It would be given to a certain percentage of the kids who get the best score on the test--probably perfect, or nearly perfect performance. But you may be right about a 700 score. It may be easier to get a 700 now than it was in the old days.
