Finding a poker related job after college?

I am a current senior at Purdue University planning on graduation at the end of this semester. I will have my bachelors in business with minors in psych and managment. Although I already have a few job opportunities on the table, I was really wondering what kind of jobs/careers might be available in the poker world. While i have been averaging a healthy amount online for playing part time, i really dont see myself being able to play for full time job. I would however love to have a job that has something to do with poker. Searching monster.com and the likes have only turned up casino jobs.. Just wondering if anyone here would know of any way i could go about finding a "job in poker". Any responce or feedback here would be of great value to me. Thanks

Not to be a wise ass, but where else but a casino do you expect to find a "job in poker"? I guess maybe writting for a poker magazine or web site...

Perhaps doing marketing or front office stuff for the World Poker Tour or something. But I'm guessing they aren't too big of an operation.

Unfortunately, there are very few if any poker-related businesses in this country since in most places it is illegal.

Most poker jobs are other skills applied to poker. Writing for a magazine/a book. An online poker site, etc. The only pure poker related job there is...is straight roundin!

There are jobs at Cryptologic, 24HBet and Ladbrokes. Ladbrokes has a job in Finland! Ad is in Swedish, gotta get it translated cause my swedish sucks. Pokerstars has 4 jobs open (see their website/careers)

I'm with you, keeping my eyes open for a poker job. That would be so great. I just can't leave Finland at the moment to live abroad.

If you mean "Marketing Coordinator - Finland", the position is actually in Stockholm. I don't have the time to translate the whole page for you, but one of the requirements is that you speak English, Finnish and Swedish fluently.
