If you're referring to the Vegas Flamingo, they have a very small room that spreads two tables of $1-4-8-8 HE and 3 tables of $1-5 stud. They have a daily high hand jackpot (paying out 3 hands for HE and 4 for stud, I believe, or maybe 2 and 3). Rake is 10% up to $4, with $.50 extra for the jackpot (so you'll see a lot of quarters on the table). Lots of old regulars play there. Very smoky and noisy because it's in the middle of a slot area. The dealers are by and large very nice, very experienced and competent, although a bit chatty.

I spent a few hours playing there earlier this month. To begin with, it's not a cardroom; it consists of about 8 tables in the middle of the casino floor. I'm sure there are some who like playing surrounded by banks of slot machines, but it's not my cup of tea. The games spread are 1-5 7-card stud with a $1 bring-in and no ante as well as 4-8 hold'em. I played stud for a few hours, and the game was a mixture of tight old men (1 or 2) and loose passive (3 or 4) and loose aggressive (2 or 3) tourists -- or that's my recollection. If you want to play in a large room with multiple games, both the Bellagio and Mirage might appeal, while if you want a small room, I'd strongly recommend the Monte Carlo (and my thanks to Dynasty for posting about the room!). I'm a touch uneasy with the crowds at the Bellagio, and I liked the Monte Carlo thoroughly -- atmosphere, staff, dealers -- I liked them all. They spread 1-5 7-card stud ($0 ante, $1 bring-in, like the Flamingo) and an unstructured 1-4-8-8 hold'em game (one can bet one to four dollars preflop and on the flop, and one to eight dollars on turn and river). I've played at the Mirage before. Very nice place to play. 3/6 and 6/12 Hold em. I did ok, but the competition at 6/12 was pretty tough. The Bellagio is intimidating to me for some reason, I think there are easier low limit games in town. The Monte Carlo seems interesting, too. I walked by there last year, and I think there were only 2 or 3 games going. It was a Tuesday at noon, though.
I've never played spread limit like 1-4-8-8 or 1-5, so I'd have to adjust to that. I would play some poker at the Flamingo if they would give me a break on my room rates, or some comps. I'll have to discuss that with them I guess.

Wingnut's breakdown of the Flamingo was correct. It's the smallest room on the Strip with just 5 tables.
I've played there several times. The noisy casino atmosphere which surrounds you is different from any other poker room. Many players will find it distracting but I always found it too be a strange change of pace. As far as comps, I believe they give a $5 comp for five (not four like other poker rooms) hours of play. The buffet there is fairly good- definitely better than the Mirage. For those who like the Monte Carlo, I also reccomend Mandalay Bay which is a close second among the small poker rooms on the Strip.
