I find myself being social with the folks on my end of the table. Having someone to chat with helps keep it from getting bad.

I also keep an eye on the TV, since a sporting event is usually on.

Hell, a month ago, at about 3am, we started placing $1 bets on who would win the next TNA Wrestling match.
