No reads yet. Should I have gone for the overcalls on the turn like this or just raised?

I don't like it. I would expect button to raise here more often than fold.

Raising the turn is better because it's going to be harder to lose turn callers when they can still have draws, etc., especially in a pot this big.

Given the flop action, I don't think that you would scare off the button. He probably had 2-pair or a set to be playing so aggressive on the flop against a pf raiser.

Any action that you lose by having one fold would be gained by having two others call your raise, and your draw is hidden with your flop aggression.

IMO, when you're getting action having the best of it, it's never good to slow down.

One of the reasons to raise is that it will generate more money cause you'll get plenty of cold callers in a big pot like this. That doesn't change with the numbers of players yet to act.

I don't think so, because the pot is already huge assuming the flop had gone the same way. If you had played weak-tight on the flop and then come alive on the turn, then it might have been wrong. Which is why you shouldn't play weak-tight [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
