why not go ahead and push the turn? It's only $6 more into a really large pot.....you want to give the draws as bad of odds as is possible....why let him save even $6 if he has a busted draw.

I was under the impression I wanted to keep the bet about 2/3 - 3/4 the size of the pot to not give a flush draw the proper odds to call.

Not like it would have saved me that much if the diamond had fallen on the river.

by my math the pot is 30 on the turn..you bet 15, that's half the pot, not 2/3's. Pushing would have actually made it 2/3's or so.

The more you push, the lower his pot odds will be (ie the closer to betting 50% of the pot for an 15% chance to hit).
