I'd 3-bet the turn

With the flop action, there's no way the Q helped him. I can't imagine the 5 helped him either, but he checked behind on the river. It seems like he has two pair or another set when he checks behind on the river. Too bad you didn't have position.

After he caps and raises the turn, I slow down. I probably play it identically to you.
