"Anyway, I thing the main thing Gabe was looking for was to see that mike l. was wrong again"

if that's his primary aspiration, and if he's willing to go to the sort of effort he has in this thread, im certain he will be highly successful.

anyway what do you know, you anal retentive nit?

Would you make the same, more, or less at the 40/80 table per hour?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd make less in the 40/80 cuz I'd play short handed with those other 4 bad players remaining at the 20/40 and crush them for far more than 40/hour since I'm getting far more hands per hour as oppose to the hands/hr in a full 40/80 game.

well, according to these numbers, it makes more sense to play in the 20 game than it does to play in the 40 game, merely because the 20 game will have less variance and you wont have to think as hard if you played in the 40. that might be an arguement against playing in the 20, as it doesnt present a challenge, but i think its a nice break to play in games with all idiots now and then.

I thought about this one for a while today. the problem I have with your situation is that you only make $40/hr in the game with 8 bad players.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, and this is one difference between Gabe's question and Nate's sim.

Seems to be just a terminology misunderstanding or something on your part. Either that or YOU are pulling our legs.

But Dcfirths is simply saying that you could go to 40/80 and earn less big bets per hour than in 20-40 but still make more money.

"Just want to point out that position shouldn't make any difference since you seated them symmetrically. The differences are just due to variance."

Seat 9 is the only player with an equally good player directly on his left in seat 1. All the other good players have a bad player directly to their left.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oops, I assumed a 10-handed table. Too much internet play.
