Default Foxwoods ACT 1 hand

Blinds were at the 100-200 level, I have about 1200 in chips (about average - 5 players left). I get dealt 22 in the CO.

It's folded around to me, I raise 3x to 600.

Folded around to chip leader in the BB - he pushes all-in (around 5k.)

What's the right play here?

In my humble opinion you should have pushed at the outset (if you were going to play the hand at all) but I don't see where you can fold now.

In my opinion he has two over cards and/or he is pushing his stack around. I pushed someone all-in the other day with my 22 but it was heads up and he had AKs and I won, heads up is a lil bit diff. I say if your looking to make a move go for it. If there is still plenty of time and you have chips to play with go ahead and lay it down there is still plenty of poker left. I would say that this is a push or fold situation depending on how tight/loose the table has been playing. I may opt for the push but it's close. Since you chose to raise here instead, you absolutely have to call as you are gettting better than 3-1.
