Default how do you play these borderline hands?

Say you're in an unraised pot in MP and find AJ with one limper. I usually raise to try to shut out thos behind me. How do you play A10 from early position? i usually fold.
How about QJ from late position with a few limpers...

I'll vote raise/fold/call.

EDIT: Except for Nick's comment about suitedness, when it's either a limp or a raise depending on the table and my mood.

Fold unless its sooted.

AJ, AT - agree

QJ - good connectiveness, decent high card potential, excellent for multiway pots, not good enough to raise but defintely limp in.
